Philanthropy/Community Service

We put a big emphasis on giving back to our community at Sigma Nu. Our chapter achieves this by holding our own philanthropies, participating in philanthropies, as well as doing community service around Corvallis. Sigma Nu at Oregon State has historically held its philanthropy to raise money for St. Judes children's research hospital. Our philanthropies range from Sigma Nu Survivor, a week-long workout challenge, to The Amazing Snake Race, a series of competitions held around campus in which teams compete to solve puzzles and challenges. We also participate in countless other philanthropies that fraternities and sororities hold around campus.
